Product Review : Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner

Hi darlings,

Welcome back to my blog. Today, I’ll be reviewing one of the products that I got during the last holidays. Remember I shared my holiday haul with you and promised to share reviews on some or all of the beauty products that I got. In case you missed it, you can find the post here. The Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner is one of my top 5 skin toners . First thing, you should know is that Witch Hazel is an excellent and natural astringent and when you find the alcohol free version, that’s even better. According to Thayers, Thayers Rose Petal Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Formula Toner will make your skin bloom. Thayer’s remarkably soothing Toner is made with rose-petal water, Vitamin E and our proprietary Witch Hazel extract. Now, here’s my review:

Product Review : Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner

Packaging : The Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner now comes in a round bottle with a red cap. The old packaging is still on the market but it’s gradually being replaced by the new packaging which was introduced late last year.

Formula :  Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel has a delightful Victorian Tea Rose scent. It contains Purified Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Certified Organic Filet Of Aloe Vera), Glycerin (Vegetable), Fragrance (Natural Rose), Hamamelis Virginiana Extract (made from Certified Organic Witch Hazel), Rosa Centifolia (Rose) Flower Water, Citric Acid, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract.

How I Use : I use it after washing my face just in case my cleanser missed any dirt, oil, or makeup. I simply soak a facial cotton pad, swipe it across my cheeks, face, and neck, and follow up with my nightly skincare. In the morning, I use it to prep for moisturizer as it adds a nice level of moisture to my face so my moisturizer sinks in fully.

Pros :

  • The Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner has zero alcohol and plenty of glycerin which makes my face feel soft and hydrated after use.
  • It enhances the appearance of my complexion.
  • It tightens the skin.
  • I use it under my eyes to reduce puffiness.
  • It will reduce the appearance of larger pores and seal in moisture for those with drier skin.

Cons :

  • Honestly, you can never go wrong with this toner.

Overall, Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel is a fantastic toner for all skin types. As I mentioned, it does not contain alcohol so you’re getting all the great benefits of Witch Hazel contrary to the dryness and tightness you might experience when using other astringents. Aside from the beauty benefits you can also use it on small wounds as well as a variety of other things. This toner is available for sale here. Do you use the Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner? How do you like it?

Hugs and Kisses,

Missglam.

  • I use it and intend getting another one. My face has been smoother and my complexion is now the same. As a guy I only have time to use it at night.
Is it better after a cold water or hot water face wash. Like wih opened pores
Is it safe.to apply it over my facial hair or avoid.
What else can a man use to get smooth soft healthy skin

    • Oh good to hear that. You may use it immediately you come out of the shower after your cleanser. It’s rose water and very safe to use. Please invest in good face wash, scrub and moisturizer. Thanks for stopping by, Ace! X
