Hey darlings,
Welcome back to my blog. Today’s post is looooong overdue! I’ve talked about the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation on several occasions, used and recommended it to my ”oily skinned” sisters…hehe. Then, I realized that it’s not on here yet for you guys to read…aah! To redeem myself, I thought to quickly put up a review post of this absolutely amazing foundation before you get mad at me 😀 . According to Maybelline ; Fit Me Matte + Poreless has been designed for normal to oily skin. It’s blurring micro powders refines pores while shine is being absorbed for a natural matte finish. It fits both skin and texture for natural finish and poreless looking skin. Now, here’s my review :
Packaging : The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation comes in rectangular transparent glass containers with black screw cap.
Formula : It contains genius blurring micro-powders that erase pores and absorb oil for a naturally matte and poreless-looking finish. The ingredients include; Water, Cyclohexasiloxane, Nylon-12, Isododecane, Alcohol Denat., Cyclopentasiloxane, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, PEG-20, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Phenoxyethanol, Magnesium Sulfate, Disodium Stearoyl Glutamate, HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Titanium Dioxide, Methylparaben, Acrylates Copolymer, Tocopherol, Butylparaben, Aluminum Hydroxide, Alumina, Silica, Glycerin. How I Use : I pour out the quantity needed and use any of these tools to apply it on my face.
Pros:
- The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation blends well on the skin.
- Great for Normal to Oily skin.
- Goes On Smoothly.
- Good Pigmentation.
- Lightweight.
- Matte Finish.
- Pocket-Friendly Price.
Cons :
- No pump.
Overall, I love this foundation a lot! My Revlon Colorstay Foundation finished and I couldn’t get a replacement immediately, so I went for the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation for Normal and Oily skin in Coconut and it’s been bliss! I love how lightweight it is. It has fantastic coverage and you can always build up on it if you please. I haven’t reacted to this product since I’ve been using it and that’s great news cos my skin is preeetty sensitive! Okay, I’m sure you know how much I love this foundation by now…haha. It’s also one of my top 5 foundations for oily skin. Don’t get me wrong, Revlon Colorstay still has my heart but with this dollar increase/fluctuation and having to mix two shades of the Revlon Colorstay (Cappuccino and Caramel) , Maybelline‘s got me right now! 😀 . I hope they start to make them with pumps though to avoid wasting products and cross contamination. This foundation is available in different shades but I’ve tried 5 out of them all for dark skin (women of color). The shades are Mocha, Coconut, Cappuccino, Spicy Brown and Toffee Caramel. It’s currently sold at 5,000naira and you can purchase here.
Do you use the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation? Which shade(s) do you wear and how do you like it?
