Maybelline x Shayla Collaboration

Maybelline’s first ever collaboration is with no other beauty influencer than Shayla Mitchell, popularly known as MakeupShayla. Wait, don’t tell me you don’t know who Shayla is! She’s one of my favorite youtubers not only because she’s really good at what she does but her confidence and sense of style is awesome!

So, the collaboration consists of three shades of the Colossal Big Shot Mascara and a new City Mini Palette.

There are 3 shades of the Colossal Big Shot x Shayla Mascara; Poppin’ Purple, Boomin’ in Blue, and Baddest Black  (The purple hue was chosen because it’s the color of royalty, Baddest Black contains a brand new black pigment that makes your lashes, the blackest black and it’s darker than all other Maybelline mascaras, and the blue shade flatters all colours, also pays tribute to Maybelline’s classic blue!). Price is $8.49 each.

The City Mini Palette x Shayla which is brand new contains a curation of Shayla’s favourite shades (deep neutrals, golds and a shimmery mauve with pink undertones) and are formulated with a totally different formula! I love all the colors in this palette…great for everyday use! Price is $9.99.

The Maybelline x Shayla collection launches tonight at 12am on Ulta.com and Maybelline.com. They’ll also be in stores across the U.S. beginning September 2017 (until supplies last).
